The women bikers celebrated the International Female Riders Day (IFRD) by planting trees 🌲. They planted 300 trees at Ngong road forest (Bomas), 152 trees at Karura forests and 12,000 seed balls at Olepolos.The ladies said that it is the knowledge and understanding of the fact that their loved hobby of riding motorcycles contributes a huge carbon footprint and therefore planting trees is taking responsibility of that fact. While lady bikers have planted trees before in commemoration of the day, they said to PBAK leaders who flagged off all the three groups that, this is something they want to be doing more often.
